Valencia is the global benchmark for juicing oranges. Medium-sized, lightly seeded, thin-to-medium peel, high juice yield, Brix and acidity that work for both fresh and industrial juicing. The Egyptian Valencia window runs five months and bridges the gap between Northern Hemisphere supply ending and Southern Hemisphere supply arriving, that is the season most EU and GCC processors plan around.
